Egyptian youth have created a Facebook page called, ‘The people govern themselves.’ The group aims to reconstruct Egypt by setting up projects that provide 3 million job opportunities.
The page calls for charitable participation to develop educational and health systems and to confront administrative corruption.
“The idea is to serve Egypt,” said the page’s founder, Mustafa Kamel.
It is the most recent of many initiatives by Egyptian youth to help build a better “New Egypt” in the wake of the January 25 Revolution that toppled the country’s 30-year ruler.
